Project Sales Engineer - LED Lighting

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer - LED Lighting to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Project Sales Engineer - LED Lighting, you will be responsible for selling a range of LED lighting products to electrical contractors and electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Field sales position selling a manufactured and distributed range of LED lighting products.
  2. 75% of your time will be spent stimulating demand with electrical contractors and electricians.
  3. You will be responsible for lighting project based sales from £5,000-£500,000.
  4. 25% of your time will be spent back-selling through established CEF electrical wholesale dealer network.
  5. You will work on typical projects including education, emergency services, healthcare, industrial, warehousing, office, residential, retail & leisure, and sports.
  6. You will survey site installations where necessary.
  7. You will support CEF branches on lighting project enquiries.
  8. You will identify opportunities by working with CEF branch network.

Requirements:

  1. You will have an electrical field sales background, with a preference for lighting experience.
  2. You must have sold into electrical contractors/ electricians.
  3. You will have experience of managing small to large lighting projects through survey, design, tender, and sales stages.
  4. Ideally, you will have local electrical contractor knowledge on patch.
  5. You will be familiar with CRM and Microsoft 365 software.
  6. You will hold a full driving licence.
