Job Description

Technical Pricing Manager
We're a digital insurance provider with ambitious plans to become a leader in the UK market. Our focus is on nurturing our 4Cs culture and leveraging powerful insights from vast amounts of customer and property information.
This role is within a combined team of Actuaries and Data Scientists championing the adoption of the latest machine learning techniques to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of trainee actuaries & data scientists in identifying and creating cutting-edge data assets and predictive models feeding into home insurance pricing
  • Create and maintain analytical tools to support in the management of our home risk portfolio
  • Develop and deploy predictive models to predict claims outcomes and market prices
  • Engineer new rating factors to be deployed into our rating algorithms

Requirements

  • Background working in a pricing or commercially focussed analytical role
  • Strong numeric and problem solving skills
  • Drive and motivations for emerging machine learning techniques and how these can be used within Underwriting & Pricing
  • Python experience or coding statistical methods in other languages
  • Great senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • You will have a customer focus to both spot profit opportunities and do the right thing

Salary - Attractive salary based on experience + £5k car allowance (pay reviews also completed each year)
