Job Title: Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor (Level 5)

Location: London - Home/Field based

Candidates must be flexible with travel when face-to-face visits are required.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:
  1. Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET.
  2. Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 5.
  3. Hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent.
  4. Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as Registered/Care Manager.
  5. Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
  6. Must have a good level of ICT skills.
  7. Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  8. Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.
Duties include:
  1. Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker).
  2. Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  3. Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  4. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  5. Support, advise and motivate learners.
  6. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
  7. Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
  1. Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  2. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  3. Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
