Account Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Account Management Lead to join our Financial Management team at Newcastle City Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for preparing and monitoring the Council's revenue and capital budgets.

- Provide day-to-day support to budget and project managers.
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve the Council's objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective financial management and control.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
We are looking for an individual who is either CCAB qualified or working towards qualification, with sound knowledge of local authority finance and experience of providing support to those responsible for managing financial resources. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and have experience presenting complex financial information in user-friendly formats.
