We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support the Contract Delivery Manager in the Arb Utility division at Ground Control. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operation of an assigned programme of tree works in the South Wales area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project outputs and performance, ensuring delivery against safety, quality, production, budget, and client satisfaction targets.
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to ensure efficient project processing and timely delivery.
- Provide timely and effective reporting and communication to the Contract Delivery Manager.
- Ensure tree cutting teams have a suitable work bank and are fully utilised across the wider contract.
- Update and manage project programmes, including the Work Programme, SD Programme, Held Up Programme, and Planning checklists.
- Resolve Held-Up spans requiring client resolution to obtain consent.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Well-developed team management and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources.
- Excellent customer service skills.
