Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at Ground Control. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operation of an assigned programme of tree works in the South Wales area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage programme delivery to meet safety, quality, production, budget, and client satisfaction targets.
  • Ensure efficient communication with the Project Coordinator and take necessary actions to ensure projects are processed in good time for smooth delivery.
  • Provide timely and effective reporting and communication to the Contract Delivery Manager.
  • Manage tree cutting teams to ensure they have a suitable work bank and are fully utilised across the wider contract.
  • Update and manage the Work Programme, SD Programme, Held Up Programme, and Planning checklists for the project and assigned teams.
  • Resolve Held-Up spans that require client resolution to obtain consent.
Requirements:
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Well-developed team management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
