About the Role

The Mockingbird Liaison Officer will work closely with key partners to develop a shared understanding of the Mockingbird Model and help recruit foster carers to the new constellation. This is a great opportunity to join a new and exciting project that aims to improve placement stability for children in care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with fostering managers, social workers, and other teams to support the wider working of the fostering service
  • Help develop a shared understanding of the Mockingbird Model and its benefits
  • Recruit foster carers to the new constellation and support families in creating an extended family community

Requirements

  • Current experience of working within foster care services
  • High standard of customer service and administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines

What We Offer

This is a part-time agency role with hybrid options available. You will be spending the majority of time out and about in the community, required to be on site 1 day a week. The 22.5 hours are flexible, and some weekend hours might be needed for events and social occasions.
