Sous Chef (Hourly) - Oxford

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Comptoir Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

You will be responsible for managing and developing the kitchen team, deputising for the Head Chef when needed, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. If you are a motivated and experienced chef looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Manage and develop the kitchen team, including training and coaching
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
