Senior CNC Programmer

Anticus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join their growing team at one of Lancashire's leading manufacturers. As a genuine global leader, they specialise in the design and manufacture of precision engineered products for a highly regulated industry.

In order to maintain their competitive advantage, they are constantly developing new products, using exotic materials, and investing in modern high tech equipment. As a Senior CNC Programmer, you would be tasked with working closely with the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop programmes to ensure that new products are manufactured to the highest standards.

This is primarily an offline programming role, however experience of operating machines would be a big advantage. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Using various CAM packages including SmartCAM and GibbsCAM to create, implement and maintain programs for use on various manufacturing processes.
  • Using 3D CAD Software to interrogate models and produce programs for complex machined profiles on milling, turning and turn/mill machines.
  • Developing programs and methodologies for various manufacturing processes using specific and bespoke software.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Using various CAM packages including SmartCAM and GibbsCAM.
  • Using 3D CAD Software to interrogate models and produce programs for complex machined profiles.
