FLT Reach Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FLT Reach Driver to work in a dynamic warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling stock accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring all activities are carried out accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Use RF equipment to put away stock and pick items based on provided paperwork.
  • Ensure all stock in the warehouse is free from damage, rotated correctly, and stored in accordance with company standards.
  • Stack goods in the correct bay and follow stock control instructions.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Complete daily checks of material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse areas for damage and rectify or report issues immediately.
  • Maintain MHE to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with the standards expected by the Green Group.
  • Assist with stock checks as required.
  • Ensure all paperwork is stored securely and completed accurately.
  • Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with any other warehouse duties within capabilities and training.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, ISO9001, and ISO14001 policies and procedures.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Valid FLT Reach Truck License.
  • Experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
