Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caged deliveries to pubs and restaurants
  • Waste collections from restaurants (plastic, cardboard or food)
  • Collections of empty cages
  • Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK C Licence (CLASS 2)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience driving a C vehicles.
  • No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
  • Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
