About the Role

This is a full-time permanent remote-based role with regional travel as required. You will have the opportunity to manage your own diary, making full use of technology and face-to-face visits.

As part of the role, you will visit care homes to carry out face-to-face observations. The successful candidate must hold an Assessors Qualification.

Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • To recruit and onboard candidates in line with CareShield's policy.
  • To deliver teaching and learning in one-to-one and group situations.
  • To plan and implement targets and action plans to ensure progress through the programme and/or competency qualifications.
  • To assess the health and safety provision in place to ensure the safety of the learner and the Coach.
  • To be responsible for the timely and effective assessment of candidates in the workplace, ensuring necessary planning and feedback is negotiated and recorded, to meet Awarding Body standards.
  • To maintain and promote National and Awarding Body standards, ensuring quality of provision to meet internal and external standards.
  • To maintain CareShield records on attendance, progress, interventions, and communications for evaluation and accountability.

  • Salary up to £13.48 an hour.
  • Opportunity to earn up to £2,400 in incentives for completion per learner caseload.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 in total pro-rata).
  • Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5:30pm, Fridays 8.30am to 4pm.
