About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust as a Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of stroke services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert medical care to patients with stroke and other cerebrovascular conditions
  • Developing and implementing stroke care pathways and guidelines
  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conducting research and audits to improve stroke services

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent level of ability/experience
  • Management qualification degree and/or relevant vocational qualification

Desirable Criteria

The following qualifications and experience are desirable:

  • At least three years' experience of managing administrative staff in the NHS
