Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at our GMP Pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Norfolk. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and non-routine testing activities of raw materials, bulk & finished packed samples in compliance with authorised test procedures using HPLC, GC & wet chemistry techniques.
  • Ensure samples and test activities are scheduled to meet production requirements in line with the production plan and outstanding orders.
  • Perform Environmental sampling and general Laboratory maintenance including equipment & calibration of apparatus.
  • Providing training and support to other analysts in the team.
  • Completion of investigations including LIs / OOS / OOT.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or above in life Sciences or a related field with relevant experience of working in a QC laboratory in a GMP environment.
  • Experience of HPLC, GC, autotitrators, rheometric analysis, spectrometry and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Experience of microbiological monitoring, COSHH assessment and computerised laboratory management systems would be desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Competence in delivering training to a variety of internal audiences.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to achieve deadlines.
