Role Overview

Academics is seeking a dedicated Child Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and therapists to implement specialized learning and intervention plans, fostering trusting and supportive relationships with students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their well-being and resilience
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety
  • Help students identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner

Requirements

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Understanding of safeguarding children in education
