About the Role

Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to provide 1:1 support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 care and support to children with SEN, working closely with the Room Manager and other professionals to ensure individualized educational plans are met.
  • Collaborate with the Behaviour Management, Equal Opportunities, and SEN Representative to ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Write and update Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and liaise with relevant representatives and the Nursery Manager.
  • Keep colleagues informed and disclose relevant updates regarding the child's progress.
  • Work closely with external professionals and agencies involved in the family support of the child.
