About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at voco St Davids Cardiff, a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Cardiff Bay. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and ingredients, and make recommendations to the kitchen team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, and that health and safety standards are met.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role in a 4/5* hotel or restaurant.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
