Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Care Manager to join our team at Sense. As a Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential service, ensuring it meets organizational and CQC standards.
About the RoleAs a Registered Care Manager, you will lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals with complex needs in their home and community. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the residential service, including managing staff, resources, and services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential service, ensuring it meets organizational and CQC standards.
- Lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of individuals with complex needs.
- Manage staff, resources, and services to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Prior experience of managing in a care setting and good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service.
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it is essential. Sense will fund this qualification.
- Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable.
- Experience of supporting people with Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy or have experience with administrating PEG, BNS, Buccolam in a professional/personal capacity is desirable.
