Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the construction process, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Manage and coordinate with internal and external design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive management of potential issues and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
- Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS card.
- NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.
- Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate and LOLER certificate.
- Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy.
