Role Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the control and delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications, ensuring all budget, risk, specification, project timescales, customer, and business objectives are met in full.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the construction process, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal and external design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive management of potential issues and opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring continuous learning and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS card.
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate and LOLER certificate.
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy.
