About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Service Care Solutions Ltd. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our precision machined components for the Aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop robust quality plans and procedures for machined components
  • Inspect and verify parts across all stages of the manufacturing process for precision machined components in various materials
  • Conduct First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Manage and report on non-conformances, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolution, and ensure correct rework of parts where necessary
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure quality and production targets are met
  • Manage customer returns, liaise with external customers, and ensure positive relationships and resolution of non-conformance
  • Assist in reporting monthly statistics and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management systems
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in Precision Engineering and/or Aerospace manufacturing
  • Strong experience and understanding of AS9100 and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR AS9102)
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical Measurement Equipment and CMM
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills and computer literacy, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience in Problem Solving, Investigation, and Control techniques (8D, 5Whys, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, PFMEA, SPC)
  • Previous experience performing Quality Audits is highly desirable
