About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning of all areas of the factory, working collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Schedule and conduct deep cleaning of large machinery, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Wear full PPE, including chemical suits, visors, wellingtons, gloves, and safety goggles, to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
  • Work in both chilled and hot environments, adapting to changing conditions as needed.
  • Complete paperwork to document cleaning activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the workplace, reporting any damaged equipment or machinery to management.
  • Use and store chemicals safely, following established procedures and guidelines.
What We're Looking For

We're open to applicants from all backgrounds, and we'll provide training and education to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written, is essential. Previous experience is an advantage, but not a necessity. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, we'd love to hear from you.
