We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Optometrist to join our dedicated team at Inspired Selections. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, utilizing OCT as a standard part of the examination process, and maintaining accurate computer-based records.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including pre-screening when necessary, with 40-minute testing times.
- Utilize OCT as a standard part of the examination process.
- Perform examinations using a phoropter and maintain accurate computer-based records.
- Assist with front-of-house duties during busy periods, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain a balance between clinical excellence and commercial awareness, contributing to the success of the practice.
- Must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points.
- Newly qualified Optometrists up to a maximum of 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical skills paired with an understanding of the commercial aspects of optometry.
- Comfortable using a phoropter and managing computer-based patient records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach to patient care.
- Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, adjusted based on experience.
- 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
- Bonus scheme: 10% of second-pair sales shared with front-of-house staff.
- Entitlement to one pair of glasses per year, plus a 50% friends and family discount.
