Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Maths Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Wandsworth secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Maths graduate to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role

This is a one-year contract, term-time only position, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 per year pro rata. As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide support to students and contribute to the development of maths lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to students in maths lessons
  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering maths lessons
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the development of maths skills and confidence in students
Requirements

We are looking for a Maths Graduate with a strong understanding of maths concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with students. You should have a 1st class or 2:1 degree in Maths and be passionate about teaching and learning.

Previous experience working with children is highly desirable, but not essential. We are committed to supporting your professional development and providing opportunities for training and growth.
