Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a Specialist School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to join our specialist school in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a great manner of building relationships with both students and staff, and be confident and capable of supporting pupils with a variety of learning difficulties.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality education and support to pupils with autism and other special needs. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with autism and other special needs in a specialist school setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individual and group support to pupils with varying learning difficulties
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with pupils with autism and other special needs
  • Confident and capable of supporting pupils with varying learning difficulties
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about providing high-quality education and support to pupils
