Special Needs Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Cardiff. As a Psychology graduate, you will have a strong understanding of the needs of students with Autism, ADHD, and other special needs.

This full-time role involves working closely with students to support their daily routines, engage them in learning activities, and help them achieve their academic goals. You will also be responsible for identifying triggers and employing de-escalation tactics when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Psychology degree pending or qualified
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

You will be required to report regularly on students' behaviours and achievements and be open to training in Team Teach and Manual Handling. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a real-world setting and make a positive impact on the lives of special needs students.
