- You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients, ensuring that hospital resources are utilized efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records is also a key aspect of this role, requiring high levels of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- You will handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing queries to the relevant departments with ease and professionalism.
- In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist with report preparation and documentation as required, working closely with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and administrative support.
- Your exceptional customer service skills will enable you to provide patients with empathy and professionalism, addressing their needs with a personal touch.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in a medical administration capacity.
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and terminology is essential.
- You will need to possess strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as excellent communication abilities both written and verbal.
- A proficiency in using healthcare systems and databases is also necessary.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet is crucial.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently will serve you well in this role.
