About the Role:

As an experienced Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. This role is based in the North of England with national travel to various sites as required.

The ideal candidate will receive a company vehicle and fuel card, ensuring they have the tools needed to succeed in this dynamic and rewarding position. The shift pattern will be predominantly Monday – Friday between 09:00 – 17:30 with a 1 hour break for lunch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain various security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine security system requirements and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their security needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security systems in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations during installations and maintenance.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of security systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service calls.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in security technology.
  • Travel to various national sites as required, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing security systems and related equipment.
  • A full Valid UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to various sites across the country.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations in the security industry.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
