About Our Care Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Team Member to join our team at McCarthy Stone. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, providing them with the highest quality of individual care and support.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Help residents with tasks such as booking appointments, arranging transportation, and escorting them on visits.
  • Assist residents with their shopping needs.

About You

  • You will be a warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the UK Health and Social Care sector, preferably in a care or support environment.
  • You will be driven to deliver excellent customer service and have a commitment to meeting the needs of our residents.
  • You will be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with your working hours.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.96-£13.26 (with an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend hours).
  • 28 days' holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata for part-time hours).

  • Opportunities to study for an Adult Care Worker Level 2 or Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 qualification.
