About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at Winfield Hospital in Gloucester.

As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients. Your excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively with a dedicated team will enable you to contribute to service development across the perioperative pathway.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your nursing experience by managing a varied surgical case mix and supporting individuals in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership and evidence-based practice, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will also be expected to use your expertise to actively contribute to service development and support staff to meet their goals.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,041 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days leave, buy and sell flexi-leave options, and private pension.
