CAMHS Clinical Lead

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to fill a Clinical Lead position in our CAMHS service. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate take on a key clinical leadership role within the new CAMHS Acute Care Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessments, including assessment of risk to self and others, and managing patients under the care of the CAMHS Crisis and Liaison pathway. They will also liaise with community teams, family, and agencies supporting children and young people in crisis.
The role involves working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care, promoting effective communication and collaboration between services. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide medical recommendations for assessments taking place in the community and 136 Suites, ensuring the Mental Health Act is used appropriately.
The salary for this position is £130,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes a generous relocation package of up to £8,000 for those moving from outside the area.
