The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Transformational Leader to join our Financial Services practice in its early stages. As a key member of our team, you will co-create the strategy and GTM for the practice, leading strategic engagements with clients and shaping MESH-AI's business in the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Deliver Strategy: You will be pivotal in defining MESH-AI's FSI strategy and own the delivery of key aspects of the strategy.
  • Account Planning and Delivery: Involved in all levels of account planning, you'll work closely with our Client Directors (Sales) to engage c-level customers, ensuring we understand, propose, and deliver valuable outcomes for them.
  • Team Leadership and Delivery: Beyond the initial sales process, you will have responsibility to form a successful delivery team, being accountable for team structure, interview and selection of consultants to join accounts. You will be ultimately responsible for the delivery of the engagement end-to-end.
  • Customer Discovery and Consulting: You will lead and support customer discovery and consulting activities by running interactive sessions, interviewing employees, and creating structured written reports, roadmaps, and presentations for the customer.
  • Client Relationship Management: You will provide engagement leadership and cultivate client relationships for the lifetime of the account, ensuring success through delivery and growth of the account.
  • Thought Leadership: You will deliver thought leadership publicly, to customers, and our own consultants, both in written (blog posts, white papers) and verbal (webinars, lunch and learn sessions) form.
Requirements
  • Financial Services Experience: Experience within Financial Services, ideally with a focus around one of the verticals such as Insurance, Banking, Payments, or Capital Markets.
  • Delivery Leadership: Past or current experience in delivery leadership with a focus on enterprise transformation.
  • Business Case Creation: Previous experience in business case creation is essential, either within consulting or in-house.
  • Strategic Roadmaps and Investment Cases: Able to document strategic roadmaps and build investment cases for transformational change in highly regulated enterprise customers.
  • Data and AI Expertise: Experience in mapping business pain to technology solutions and operating model changes with a specific focus around data, analytics, AI & ML.
  • Modern Data Architectures: Deep understanding of modern data architectures, governance approaches, and ways of working.
  • Sales and Delivery: Experience in effectively selling and delivering outcome-based professional services in enterprise organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
