Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Teaching Assistant Job Description:

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a Primary school in Neath Port Talbot, supporting a Reception / Year 1 class. The successful candidate will be a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children aged 3-7.

Key Duties:
• Assist the teacher in preparing lessons and resources
• Work with individual students to provide additional support and guidance
• Lead small group activities to promote learning and development
• Observe and assess pupil progress, reporting back to the class teacher

Requirements:
• Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent
• Experience of teaching literacy and numeracy skills to young children
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
