Job Title: Education Support Assistant - Primary School

The role involves supporting a Reception / Year 1 class in a Primary school in Neath Port Talbot. As an experienced Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, working with students who require additional support, and leading group work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the teacher with classroom preparation and planning
• Work with students who require additional support to achieve their educational goals
• Lead group work and activities to promote learning and development
• Help the class teacher with pupil observations and assessments

Requirements:
• Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent
• Experience of teaching literacy and numeracy to Foundation Phase pupils
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
