Finance Manager Job Description

Nxtgen Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join a thriving business in Norwich City Centre. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing a high-performing transactional team and supporting the finance controller with budget setting, reporting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of month-end management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial risk forecasting and templates
  • Providing accurate and timely reports
  • Helping to develop new and existing services and resources
  • Performing various other ad-hoc finance-related duties as requested by the FC/CEO

The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA professional with proven experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant position. You will have a strong track record of producing management accounts, budgets, and managing a team. Excellent Excel skills are essential for this role. Our client is looking for a confident and bright candidate who can work closely with senior management and present to the SLT.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant position
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and present to the SLT

Salary: £40,000-£47,000 (dependent on experience)
