About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Care. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our donors and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the staff and workload of the Stock Holding Unit (SHU) to deliver efficient and effective 24/7 Hospital Services to a defined number of hospital users.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements at all times and that local practice and service development is in line with regional direction and national strategy.
  • Train and develop the staff of the SHU to deliver an excellent customer service that meets quality standards and is focused on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and maintained for optimum performance.
  • Represent the SHU at various meetings on a range of topics including customer relations and providing technical advice to internal and external service users.
Requirements
  • Significant study of management techniques.
  • Experience of logistics and supply chain management at a supervisory level.
  • Experience of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience of working with Information Technology using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
