Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Children's Emergency Department team
  • Support the Directorate Lead Nurse in delivering key performance targets
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and improve clinical care standards

  • Support and promote the wellbeing of clinical teams
  • Lead the governance assurance framework for Children's Emergency and Ambulatory Care

Requirements
  • NMC registration
  • Degree in nursing or related subject
  • Post-registration study in a related subject
  • Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice/Mentorship module
  • APLS/EPALS provider
Desirable Criteria
  • MSc level education in Acute Care/Emergency Care/Paediatrics
