Core Linux Engineer

Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Core Linux Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quantitative trading platform development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance Linux systems that power our complex proprietary trading systems.

About the Role

  • Design and implement high-performance Linux systems for our quantitative trading platform
  • Develop and maintain Linux-based solutions for automation and data processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and advancements

Requirements

  • Strong background in STEM education, ideally Computer Science
  • Deep and fundamental knowledge of operating systems, predominantly Linux
  • Experience with modern Linux and programming concepts, such as C, sockets, and virtual memory
  • Understanding of networking protocols and experience with Linux systems design
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, Rust, Julia, Java, C++, Scala, or Haskell
