Job Title: Nursing Associate

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role

The Nursing Associate will work independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for patients of all ages and in a variety of settings.

The successful candidate will have a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, and will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nursing Associate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a paediatric inpatient ward setting
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective care
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient needs and preferences
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered with the NMC as a Nursing Associate and have a strong understanding of the principles and values of the NHS.

You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
