About the Role

G DOC Ltd is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team at Lydney practice. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for taking blood samples from patients, completing associated documentation, and mentoring new staff members.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from patients using venepuncture techniques
  • Complete all necessary documentation and records
  • Mentor and train new staff members in phlebotomy procedures
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of phlebotomy equipment
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Behave with courtesy and consideration towards colleagues and patients
  • Comply with data protection legislation
