Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Blake Ward, an 8-bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in providing leadership and operational management to the ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our service users.
Main Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement care for service users, providing specialist nursing advice and carrying out specialist nursing procedures as required.
Provide clinical and managerial leadership to junior staff, including supervision and mentoring to ensure the development of their skills and knowledge.
Work collaboratively with the Ward Manager to ensure the effective management of the ward, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
