Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Blake Ward, a 8-bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in providing leadership and operational management to the ward, ensuring the provision of high-quality nursing care to all service users.
Main Duties
Assess, plan, and implement care for service users, providing specialist nursing advice and carrying out specialist nursing procedures as required. Provide clinical and managerial leadership to junior staff, including supervision and mentoring. Collaborate with the Ward Manager to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the needs of service users.

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse who has a strong background in mental health nursing. Essential criteria include:
- 1 year's experience at Band 5
Desirable criteria include:
- PICU/Acute ward experience
