Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teacher Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Lambeth. As an SEN Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans, provide general support to pupils in the classroom, and assist with monitoring and assessing pupil progress and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting teachers in developing and implementing individualized learning plans
  • Providing general support to pupils in the classroom
  • Assisting with monitoring and assessing pupil progress and development


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly those with special educational needs. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with teachers and other support staff. Additionally, you should be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

What We Offer:
We are offering a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position, with a start date available ASAP. The primary school is located in the inner-city borough of Lambeth, near underground stations. It's a one-form entry school and nursery with 176 pupils, established in 1648 and rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
