About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at ATL Technology. As a key member of our NPI and Manufacturing teams, you will play a critical role in assessing new project requirements from a process perspective.

Your primary function will be to conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) to enable the design, development, and optimization of processes for producing medical devices. You will also be responsible for improving existing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all current health and safety rules and guidelines, and develop processes that meet the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Process Design: Design, develop, implement, and maintain assembly processes, including line setup/layout, equipment identification and allocation, jigs and fixtures, and data collection and analysis.
  • Process Technology and Innovation: Evaluate new projects in relation to processes and manufacturing, drive continuous improvement and innovation in process development, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology and process engineering.
  • Validation: Develop processes that comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), process validations, and other quality system documentation requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare manufacturing documentation, technical reports, and presentations to ensure smooth transition into manufacturing, and maintain a record of all documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with other ATL Technology functions to assess process methods to minimize process time and scrap, maintain and improve customer quality, output, and equipment maintenance.
  • Compliance: Work in accordance with Company Quality Standards, procedures, and processes, and comply with the requirements of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
