Qualifications:

• A Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma (RECE) and good standing with the college of ECEs

• Experience in a Montessori school setting is an asset

• Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks

• Valid CPR/ First Aid certification – Level C

• Updated Immunization Record

Skills:

• Passion for working with children

• Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work individually and within a team

• Leadership and organizational skills

• Experience with planning and implementing programs

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day classroom operations, including lesson instruction, daily recording, and supervision

• Maintain a clean, organized environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy

• Develop relationships with parents and communicate regularly

• Provide a program compliant with Ministry of Education requirements and incorporating Montessori Pedagogy

• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy at all times

• Knowledge of relevant sections of the Child Care & Early Years Act

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
