About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Rail division at Telent Technology Services Limited. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering bids end-to-end, while keeping in line with our bid governance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing bid-winning strategies in partnership with the opportunity owner and business heads
  • Producing material from Go/No Go stage through to deal review, bid submission, and win/loss reviews
  • Post-bid submission support, including coordinating responses to clarification questions and supporting customer presentations
  • Bid and Proposal feedback and reviews - won and lost - including recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Previous in-depth Bid Management experience
  • Involved in high-profile complex bids with values of £5-6 Million pounds
  • Excellent attention to detail, be driven, and well-organized
  • A proven ability to write and 'Red Review' answers to tender questions to a winning standard
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience of producing high (£10m+) and medium-value (£5m+) bids to the public sector in an environment such as Rail (ideally) or similar such as Intelligent Transport System, Defence, Transport, and Emergency Services markets
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • In-depth Bid Management experience
  • Ability to present, persuade, and influence at all levels via strong interpersonal communications skills
