We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team at an NHS Trust in the South West of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of general Gastroenterology services, including specialist Hepatology, inpatient and outpatient services, and endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop special interests to extend the spectrum of gastroenterology services offered at the hospital
- Support services currently being developed in the department
- Undertake a total of two general gastroenterology clinics per week
- Support the endoscopy service with both upper and lower endoscopy procedures
- Participate in the emergency endoscopy rota and GIM on-call rota
This is a 12-month NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant (Salaried)/or Substantive Consultant position, offering excellent training and educational opportunities, as well as a supportive and teaching network. Our client is happy to issue Certificate of Sponsorships to suitably qualified overseas doctors.
