About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our thriving department at a reputable secondary school in South London. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students by imparting your knowledge and passion for psychology at KS4 and KS5 levels.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and stimulating psychology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
  • Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies aligned with the school's curriculum and assessment plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing personalized feedback to enhance their learning outcomes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment
  • Contributing to the department's ongoing professional development initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Psychology
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5 levels
  • Strong understanding of the latest psychological theories and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for inspiring and motivating students
