About the Role

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEND. You will assist with lesson planning, implement interventions, and provide general support to students in the classroom.

This role is ideal for a Psychology graduate who is passionate about working with students with SEND and wants to develop their skills and experience in this field.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support students with SEND in the classroom
  • Implement individualized interventions and support plans
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide general support to students with SEND
Requirements
  • Psychology graduate with a strong interest in working with students with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
