Job Title: Fire Systems Project Engineer - Midlands

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Project Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region. As a Fire Systems Project Engineer, you will be responsible for technically engineering, installing, and managing small and large projects across our portfolio. You will work closely with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved while maintaining profitability, health, safety, and quality to company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure projects are on programme
  • Process cost sheets to the purchasing department
  • Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project
  • Ensure all engineering paperwork is allocated to engineers and following project completion, ensure commissioning is completed correctly
  • Provide technical expertise as required on projects
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Line management of engineers and sub-contractors as assigned, including management of employees
  • Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager
  • Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites
  • Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required
  • Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire systems industry. You should have experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations, demonstrable technical experience, and good interpersonal skills. You should also have technical knowledge of major systems and projects.
