The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Communications Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work on diverse projects, applying your expertise in wireless military communication networks and associated protocols and security architectures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing systems engineering skills for wireless military communication networks, including requirements analysis, design, simulation, and implementation
  • Supporting customer meetings and providing technical expertise
  • Applying and scaling engineering processes effectively
  • Identifying and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Maintaining awareness across the wireless military radio systems domain
  • Providing timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables and contributing to bids

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in simulating wireless communication networks
  • Ability to conduct research into future military networking
  • Knowledge of the military communication domain
  • Understanding of wireless military communication and/or civil network architectures, protocols, and associated waveforms

Desirable Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Software Defined and Agile Networking
  • Understanding of the application of AI/ML to networking
  • Experience in implementing wireless communication protocols
  • Knowledge of other defense disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS
  • Proficient or interest in software development
  • Knowledge of military network security architectures
  • OpenCPI

Security
